Escambia County Authorities Seek Public’s Help in Locating Missing 12-Year-Old Kyliera Turner, Last Seen in Pensacola Area

Escambia County, Florida – The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office has issued an urgent plea for help in locating 12-year-old Kyliera Turner, who was last seen on the night of August 11, 2024, around 10 p.m. She was spotted walking near Fairfield Drive and Mobile Highway, wearing a black jacket, an orange top, grey sweatpants, and grey Crocs shoes. Kyliera is described as 5’3" tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds.

The Sheriff’s Office has released a single photo of Kyliera and is asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact them immediately at 850-436-9620. As the search for the missing juvenile intensifies, the community has expressed growing concern for her safety.

Elsa Morton, a local resident, shared on Facebook, "I saw her about an hour ago and called the sheriff’s office. Apparently, she’s from Panama City! Praying she’s in good hands and brought somewhere safe."

Other community members have also taken to social media to express their worries and hopes for Kyliera’s safe return. Patti Fields Matthews posted, "Praying," while Patti McLellan added, "Prayers for this child to be found safe! This is also a bad area for drugs and predators."

Rena Nay, another concerned resident, mentioned a possible sighting, "I could have sworn as I was driving I saw a girl today walking over by Pace Blvd and Cervantes near the Brownsville area today around 4:15 and 5, but it probably wasn’t her though… this girl had her hair like that but was wearing all black pants."

As time passes, the urgency to locate Kyliera increases, and the community continues to rally together in hopes of her safe return. Authorities are urging anyone who may have seen Kyliera or has any information to come forward, emphasizing the importance of every tip in ensuring her safety.
