Adler was widely recognized for his contributions as a CBC sportscaster, a track announcer at Windsor Raceway, and the founder of CKBG 107.9 FM, also known as "The Burg," a radio station serving Amherstburg.

Marty Adler’s impact on the Windsor-Essex community was profound. He spent decades as a sportscaster, where he passionately covered both professional and amateur sports, always eager to give local athletes their “15 minutes of fame.” His work extended beyond broadcasting, as he also produced corporate videos and television ads through his production company, Great Lakes Television.
