Former Houston Volunteer Fire Department Chief Albert Nagy Passes Away, Community Mourns

Houston, Texas – Albert Nagy, former Chief of the Houston Volunteer Fire Department (HVFD) Station 65, has passed away, leaving the community in mourning. News of his death surfaced earlier this week, prompting an outpouring of grief and heartfelt tributes from those who knew him.

The Houston Volunteer Fire Department Station 65 shared their sorrow on Facebook, stating, "It’s with a heavy heart we hear that former H.V.F.D. Chief 65 Albert Nagy has passed away. You were a great person, a great friend, and a great firefighter and leader. Condolences to Patti, Michael, Mark, Kristen, Drew, Abigail, Jillian, and the entire family."

Many community members took to social media to express their condolences and share their memories of Albert Nagy. Joseph Furbee commented, "R.I.P. Chief Nagy, Thank You for Your Service to our Community. Hugs and Prayers for the Family." Another friend, Thomas Goldsboro, wrote, "Rest in peace, brother Albert. You will be missed."
