Born on November 6, 1993, Eric’s entrance into the world was as dramatic as the life he would go on to lead, nearly being born in the front seat of a car on the way to Markham Stouffville Hospital. From a young age, Eric’s boundless energy and determination were evident. By the time he was just 22 months old, he was already skating, and by four years old, he was playing hockey with a skill far beyond his years.
Eric’s love for sports was a defining feature of his life. His athletic journey saw him excel in various disciplines, including junior hockey and professional Muay Thai. More recently, he took on the challenge of ultra-distance running, participating in races as long as 100 kilometers. His commitment to his community was highlighted when he organized a 100-kilometer charity race during the COVID-19 pandemic, raising funds for the Peterborough food bank.
Beyond his athletic achievements, Eric was known for his incredible work ethic. From a young age, he took on various summer jobs, displaying a determination and resilience that would become his trademark. Whether driving garbage trucks, lifeguarding, or landscaping, Eric approached every task with the same dedication he brought to his sports.
