Fresno Community Mourns the Loss of Theresa Sutherland, Fundraiser Launched to Support Funeral Expenses

Fresno, California – The family of Theresa Sutherland, who passed away on August 22, 2024, is reaching out to the community for support in covering funeral expenses. A GoFundMe page has been organized by Taylor Sutherland, Theresa’s grandchild, to help raise the necessary funds.

As of today, August 28, 2024, the fundraiser has gathered $435 from 12 donations, with a goal of $25,000. The family is deeply appreciative of the support they have received so far, including a generous $100 donation from Andrea Flowers and an anonymous contribution of $20.

Taylor Sutherland shared on the GoFundMe page, "Your support means the world to us during this challenging time. Whether you can donate, share this page, or simply send your love and prayers, we are incredibly grateful for any and all support."

Theresa Sutherland was cherished by her family and community for her laughter, smile, and love. The fundraiser aims to honor her memory by ensuring she has a proper home-going service.

Franklin Sutherland also took to Facebook to express his gratitude, stating, "This is an official page for my BEAUTIFUL MOM to help us raise money for her home going service. Any donation is appreciated. 1 luv."

The family continues to seek the community’s help in reaching their fundraising goal. Contributions can be made through the GoFundMe page titled "Celebrate Theresa Sutherland’s Life with Us."

Theresa’s legacy will live on through the many lives she touched, and the family hopes to give her a fitting farewell with the support of those who knew and loved her.
