Fundraiser Launched to Support the Family of Lou Fesili Following His Sudden Passing in American Samoa

Des Moines, Washington – A GoFundMe fundraiser has been organized to support the family of Lou Fesili, who tragically passed away unexpectedly on August 21, 2024. Lou leaves behind six children, grandchildren, and his soulmate, Tina Faimalo.

The fundraiser, organized by Moka Taihia, aims to help alleviate the financial burdens that come with this sudden loss, including the costs of bringing Lou back from American Samoa to be laid to rest in Washington state and covering funeral expenses.

Moka Taihia expressed deep sorrow over Lou’s passing and gratitude for the community’s support. The fundraiser seeks to provide assistance to the family during this challenging time, with any contribution, no matter how small, being greatly appreciated.

The goal of the fundraiser is to reach $15,000, and those wishing to contribute can do so through the GoFundMe platform. The family is also asking for thoughts and prayers during this difficult period.

As of today, the fundraiser is in its early stages, with the hope that the community’s compassion and generosity will help the Fesili family navigate this heartbreaking time.
