Girdler, Kentucky – In a tragic incident early Sunday morning, Brad Rose, a 40-year-old resident of Girdler, lost his life in a single-vehicle accident on a highway in southeastern Kentucky. The fatal crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. on Highway 229, just over a mile and a half outside of Highway 25E.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Department reported that upon arriving at the scene, deputies discovered black skid marks leading off the road, indicating that the vehicle had veered off course. The tracks led over an embankment and into a tree line, where they found a black Toyota Tundra overturned on its side. Brad Rose, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was found deceased inside.
Emergency responders worked to extract Rose’s body from the wreckage, and the Knox County Coroner’s Office confirmed his death at the scene. Preliminary investigations suggest that the vehicle’s skid marks and off-road trajectory may have been contributing factors to the accident. However, authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash.
As the investigation continues, the local community is encouraged to support the Rose family during this difficult time. Further updates will be provided by the Knox County Sheriff’s Department and the Coroner’s Office as more information becomes available.
