Gwinnett County Tragedy – Ashley Bocanegra, 30, Allegedly Murdered in a Love Triangle Attack

Gwinnett County, Georgia – Ashley Bocanegra, a 30-year-old woman, was tragically killed following an alleged assault that police say was motivated by a complicated romantic entanglement. The incident took place at an apartment complex on Buford Drive, Gwinnett County, where Bocanegra was lured by two women, Antonetta Stevens and Janine Gonzalez, on Thursday afternoon.

According to authorities, the attack occurred around 1 p.m., and it has been revealed that the motivation behind the crime was a romantic rivalry. Investigations determined that Gonzalez’s brother had been romantically involved with both Stevens and Bocanegra, leading to heightened tensions and, ultimately, violence.

Police reported that Stevens and Gonzalez engaged in a physical altercation with Bocanegra, which resulted in severe injuries. Tragically, these injuries proved fatal, and Bocanegra passed away just hours after the attack.

In addition to the physical assault, it was discovered that the suspects had also taken Bocanegra’s cellphone during the attack. Both Stevens and Gonzalez were arrested shortly after the incident. They now face serious charges, including aggravated battery, robbery, and felony murder.

This shocking event has left the community in mourning, and many have taken to Facebook to express their grief and support for Bocanegra’s family. One user, Capping Keith, shared his sorrow on social media, reflecting the sentiments of many others in the community who are grappling with this sudden and tragic loss.
