Hebron Community Grieves the Loss of Kelly Riggs, Beloved Volunteer and Cherished Member

Hebron, IL – The Hebron community is deeply saddened by the loss of Kelly Riggs, who passed away at her home on Monday, August 19, 2024. Kelly Riggs was widely known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to serving others, leaving a profound impact on all who knew her.

Kelly Riggs was a dedicated volunteer with the Hebron-Alden-Greenwood Fire Protection District and the Hebron Public Library. Her commitment to these organizations reflected her passion for helping others and her desire to enrich the community in meaningful ways. She was a beloved figure in Hebron, known for her generosity and the joy she brought to those around her.

The Riggs family is deeply mourning the loss of Kelly, and they have expressed their gratitude for the outpouring of support from the community. They have invited friends and acquaintances to share their memories of Kelly, hoping to find comfort in the collective love and respect she inspired.

On Facebook, several people expressed their sorrow at Kelly’s passing. Sam Pace shared, "I was shocked to see that she passed away… it bothers me that such a kind-hearted gentle soul like her has left this earth. R.I.P Kelly." Brian Kaitschuck added, "Well it’s always the king God brings into his kingdom. Yes, it’s very hard to accept but I know she’s in a better place. God Bless her may she rest in peace." A visitation for Kelly Riggs will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by services at 1:00 p.m. at Ehron Adam’s Funeral Home in Richmond, IL. The Riggs family encourages all who knew Kelly to attend and pay their respects.
