James Keith Schultheis, Beloved Member of Evansville, IN Community, Dies at Age 71

Evansville, Indiana – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of James Keith Schultheis, a cherished resident of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on August 26, 2024, at the age of 71.

James was a devoted family man and a respected member of the Evansville community. He is remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the positive impact he made on the lives of those around him.

James was preceded in death by his parents, William “Bill” Schultheis and Mary Ann Schultheis (Brahm). He is survived by his loving wife, Pam Schultheis (Wolf), and his sons, Aaron Schultheis of Evansville, and Kyle Schultheis of Dallas, Texas. His siblings Elaine Mischler, Barbara Schultheis, Gary Schultheis, and Paul Schultheis, along with several nieces, nephews, and in-laws, also survive him.

Visitation for James will take place on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Evansville, IN.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Heart to Heart Hospice or Rock Steady Boxing, organizations that held a special place in James’s heart.

Many friends and community members have expressed their condolences and shared fond memories on James’s commemorative page. Jen Chandler, a community member, expressed her condolences, reflecting the outpouring of love and support from those who knew James.

James Keith Schultheis will be greatly missed, but his legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those he touched. The Evansville community mourns his loss and extends its deepest sympathy to his family.
