James Thomas Meiser of Chesaning, Michigan, Dies Unexpectedly at Age 26

Chesaning, Michigan – James Thomas Clifford “JT” Meiser, a 26-year-old resident of Chesaning, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2024. JT, as he was affectionately known, was born on October 18, 1997, in St. Johns, Michigan.

A graduate of Chesaning Union High School’s class of 2016, JT was known for his dedication and hard work. He worked as a supervisor at Precision Store Works, where he led a team responsible for installing signs and shelving for Home Depot stores. His colleagues and friends remember him for his enthusiasm and commitment to his job.

Outside of work, JT had a passion for adventure and fun. He enjoyed riding his go-kart and mini bike, shooting, fishing, and playing video games. His family and friends were central to his life, and he cherished spending time with them.

JT is survived by his parents, Aaron and Cecily Meiser, his daughter Willow Meiser, his girlfriend Haiden, and his sisters, Hayley Essenberg and Nikki Meiser. His grandparents, Barry and Jo Meiser, and Nan and Gerry Holden, along with other loving family members, also survive him. JT was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Raymer, his aunt Becky (Meiser) Gates, and his cousin Tyler Meiser.

JT’s untimely death has left a void in the hearts of those who knew him. His memory will be cherished by his loved ones as they come together to honor his life and the joy he brought to their lives.
