Jose Antonio Escareno-Regala, 14, Missing from Norman, Oklahoma – Community Urges Help in Finding Him

Norman, Oklahoma – Concern is growing for Jose Antonio Escareno-Regala, a 14-year-old boy who has been missing since July 16, 2024. The community is rallying to find him and bring him home safely.

Jose was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and black slides. He is described as 5’4” tall, weighing 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. His disappearance was officially noted on Thursday when his case was uploaded into the missing persons system.

The Norman Police Department is leading the search for Jose, and they are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact them at 405-321-1444, referencing case number 2024-51554.

On Facebook, the See Me OKC group highlighted the urgency of finding Jose, noting that he missed his 14th birthday and that his database entry, like many others, lacks a photograph. The group is reaching out to the community for any leads or information that could assist in the search.

Several individuals have expressed their concerns and offered their thoughts on Facebook. Missy Chae suggested, "Maybe his current or previous school has pictures," while Kat Tastic shared, "This makes me very sad."

Anyone who knows Jose or his family is encouraged to contact the authorities or the See Me OKC group to help in creating a flyer and spreading awareness. The community’s efforts are vital in the search to find Jose and ensure his safe return.
