Boyle Heights, Los Angeles – Jose Reyes Pizarro, 37, tragically lost his life in a fatal shooting that occurred early Friday morning in Boyle Heights. The incident took place around 6:15 a.m. near the intersection of Marengo Street and Evergreen Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Pizarro suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, with eight shell casings found in the vicinity. Despite efforts to save his life, Pizarro was pronounced dead at the scene.
