Khenner Harrison Found Safe After Going Missing from Holladay, Community Reacts with Relief on Social Media

Holladay, Utah – Khenner Harrison, a 27-year-old man with the mental capacity of an 8 or 9-year-old, who went missing from his Holladay home early Wednesday morning, has been located and is safe. Harrison’s disappearance had prompted a widespread search and an outpouring of concern from the community and his family.

Harrison was last seen around 3:30 a.m. near 6300 South and 2300 East, wearing a long-sleeved blue and white striped shirt, red gym shorts, and no shoes. The Unified Police Department (UPD) had issued an urgent appeal for information on his whereabouts, emphasizing his vulnerable state due to his mental capacity and physical condition, including a shaved head and scoliosis-induced hunch.

The search for Khenner Harrison gained significant traction on social media, with many individuals sharing their thoughts and prayers for his safe return. Lori Lewis Gammon expressed, "Biggest scare as a mom of a special needs child!!! Hope they find him – praying hard!" Bronson White-Bravo, who had known Khenner as a teacher’s aide in middle school, wrote, "Praying he’s found safe! He’s extremely friendly and approachable!"

Mike Burk, a friend of Harrison’s family, noted the community’s immediate response, "Please share this everyone; he is a really good friend of our son. The cops stopped at our house first looking for him." After Harrison was found, Burk updated his post, "He has been found and is safe now and back home."

Further comments continued to pour in as the search extended to various areas, with users sharing the news in different parts of Utah. Beth Tanner shared from Roosevelt, Utah, while Dani Duncan shared in South Davis County, emphasizing the broad concern for Harrison’s well-being.

Susan Andersen posted a heartfelt message, "Prayers for safe return; he’s very nice, prayers for his family," while Jenny Goodfellow wrote, "Dear God plz bring this young man home safe & sound."

The UPD had urged anyone with information to contact dispatch immediately at 801-840-4000 or dial 9-1-1, highlighting the case number CO24-74124.
