Kimberley Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Missing 25-Year-Old Gladness Zeldred Horne

Kimberley, South Africa – Authorities are appealing for the public’s assistance in locating 25-year-old Gladness Zeldred Horne, who was reported missing in Kimberley. Originally from De Aar, Gladness was visiting family in Utility, Kimberley, when she was last seen on Thursday, August 15, 2024, around 8:00 PM. She was wearing pink pajamas at the time of her disappearance.

Gladness, who is described as mentally impaired, stands approximately 1.6 meters tall, has short black hair, and brown eyes. Her family reported her missing over the weekend, and the Kimberley South African Police Service (SAPS) has since been actively investigating her whereabouts.

The police are urging anyone with information to contact Detective Constable JR Webb at 079 212 7682. The Kimberley SAPS emphasized that there is no waiting period required to report a missing person, encouraging anyone with relevant information to come forward immediately.

The situation has drawn significant attention on social media, with community members expressing their concern and hopes for Gladness’s safe return. Virginia Hlatswayo posted, "Lord protect her and bring her back to her family safe." The community remains hopeful as the search for Gladness continues.
