Kimberly Kay Clark, Beloved Scottsville Resident, Passes Away at 60

Scottsville, KY – The community of Scottsville is mourning the loss of Kimberly Kay Clark, a cherished 60-year-old resident who passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Kimberly was a native of Scottsville and was widely known for her warm spirit and deep dedication to her family and friends.

Kimberly, who formerly worked at Sumitomo and Brown’s Printing, was also a devoted attendee of East Willow Church of God. She was the daughter of the late Lee Odus Anderson and Mary Ellen Vinson Anderson and was married to the late Clyde Jeffery Clark, with whom she shared a deep bond until his passing.

Kimberly is survived by her son, Blake Clark, and his wife, Amanda, both residents of Scottsville. She was a loving grandmother to six grandchildren: Lara, Laken, LaKyndell, Laikly, Laryn, and Linkin Clark, all of Scottsville. Her memory will also be cherished by her sisters, Teresa Morgan and Sheliah Dobbs, and her sister-in-law, Cathy Clark Spurlock, who reside in Scottsville as well. Kimberly was a beloved aunt to her nephews, Shannon Spurlock and Jacob Dobbs, and her nieces, Brandy Jones and Kim Spurlock. Additionally, she leaves behind several great-nieces and great-nephews and two lifelong friends, Karen Keen and Tammy Lonas, who held her dear.

In addition to her parents and husband, Kimberly was preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn Anderson, whose memory she kept close to her heart.

Funeral services for Kimberly Kay Clark will be held on Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at Goad Funeral Home, with Bro. Keith Patrick officiating. She will be laid to rest at Allen County Memorial Gardens. Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday and will continue on Sunday morning from 8:00 A.M. until the time of the service at Goad Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to help cover funeral expenses. Contributions can be made directly at Goad Funeral Home.

Kimberly Kay Clark will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her kind heart, strong faith, and unwavering love for her family will forever be remembered and cherished.
