Known for her warm and welcoming nature, Kristine had a lasting impact on everyone she met, always going above and beyond to help others. Her loss is deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

In the wake of her passing, tributes have poured in from friends and community members alike. Ashley Harms, a close friend of Kristine, shared a touching tribute on Facebook, saying, "Krissy Kristine Walsh, we just saw you and Paige a month ago to celebrate my aunt’s life. This is why photos are so important and special. Here is her sweet girl and Nani over ten years ago. I had the pleasure of knowing her as my cousin’s and their mom and dad’s ride-or-die friend. She was a pillar in the community, and if you look at her Facebook, she was a constant in everyone’s lives that she loved."

Ashley continued, "In her memory, I encourage you to be kind to your friends, kind to strangers, and really soak up every little moment in your life, no matter the size, because one day they’ll be all we have. Please keep her family and those that loved her in your prayers. The little I have known her over the last 20 years, she was always warm and welcoming and had the biggest smile on her face. Rest easy, mama."

The 98.3 WSUL Heart-A-Thon Committee, where Kristine was a key figure, also expressed their grief and respect for her. "The 98.3 WSUL Heart-A-Thon Committee lost a major force in the fight against heart disease in Sullivan County—Kristine Walsh. A fierce advocate for women’s heart health, Kristine was the driving force behind the start of our women’s hour. Krissy was literally the heart and soul of our community, and she has left a hole in all of our hearts that will never be filled. We will continue to help raise awareness for women’s heart health in her memory. Condolences to her family at this difficult time."
