Liliana “Lily” Munguia, Native American Woman, Missing After Flying to Iowa to Meet Online Acquaintance

Bapchule, Arizona – Authorities and the family of Liliana "Lily" Munguia, 23, are seeking the public’s help in locating her after she disappeared earlier this month. Liliana was last seen on August 5, 2024, on home security footage leaving her father’s residence near Bapchule, Arizona, at 1:30 a.m.

Later that day, Liliana purchased a plane ticket and flew from Mesa, Arizona, to Des Moines, Iowa, where she planned to meet someone she had connected with online. She was briefly in contact with her family after arriving in Iowa, but all communication has since stopped, raising significant concerns for her safety.

Liliana is described as a Native American female, 5’2" tall, weighing 125 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She has a distinctive mole on the left side of her neck. Liliana has connections to Phoenix, Arizona, as well as Des Moines and Clive, Iowa, which could provide leads on her possible whereabouts.

The FBI’s Phoenix Field Office is involved in the search, urging anyone with information about Liliana’s disappearance to come forward. The public’s assistance is crucial in reuniting Liliana with her worried family.
