Long Beach Police Seek Public Assistance in Locating 90-Year-Old Leverne E. Brown, Last Seen on August 18

Long Beach, California – The Long Beach Police Department is urgently seeking the public’s help to locate 90-year-old Leverne E. Brown, who has been missing since August 18, 2024. Brown, who is considered an at-risk individual due to his age, was last seen around 10:30 p.m. on the 3200 block of East Artesia Boulevard.

Brown is described as a Black male, standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 135 pounds. Given his advanced age, there is significant concern for his well-being.

Community members have expressed their concerns on social media. Vicky Verdugo López commented, “Prayers to be found safe and well.” Another concerned individual, Maria N Rincon, suggested, “Check the hospital,” while Angie Gribbin expressed hope "for a safe return home."

The police department has urged anyone with information on Brown’s whereabouts to contact Police Dispatch at (562) 435-6711 immediately.

As the search continues, the community remains hopeful for Leverne E. Brown’s safe return.
