Long Beach Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Missing 64-Year-Old Freddie D. Jenkins

Long Beach, California – The Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) is urgently seeking the public’s assistance in locating 64-year-old Freddie D. Jenkins, an at-risk missing person who was last seen on August 16, 2024, around 2:00 p.m. on the 300 block of Atlantic Avenue. Jenkins is described as a Black male, standing 5’5” tall, and weighing approximately 180 lbs.

Jenkins was reported missing four days ago, and authorities are concerned for his safety due to his at-risk status. The community is encouraged to assist by keeping an eye out for any signs of Jenkins and reporting any information that could aid in his safe return.

Several members of the Long Beach community have expressed their hopes for Jenkins’ safe return on social media. Angie Gribbin posted on Facebook, hoping "for a safe return home," reflecting the collective concern of the community.

The LBPD has urged anyone with information regarding Jenkins’ whereabouts to contact Police Dispatch immediately at (562) 435-6711. The department continues to emphasize the importance of public awareness and cooperation in locating Jenkins.
