Los Angeles Authorities Seek Public’s Help in Locating Missing 71-Year-Old Francisco Davila, Last Seen on Hooper Avenue

Los Angeles, California – The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is urgently seeking the public’s assistance in locating 71-year-old Francisco Davila, who was last seen in the early hours of Sunday, August 18, 2024. Davila, a male Hispanic standing 5’06” tall and weighing 125 lbs., was last seen on the 8000 block of Hooper Avenue in Los Angeles at approximately 12:45 a.m.

Francisco Davila, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, was wearing gray camo pants, a gray shirt, and black sandals when he disappeared. His family is deeply concerned for his safety and is hoping for his safe return.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has issued a public plea for any information that could help locate Davila. Those with information are encouraged to contact the department’s Missing Persons Unit at (323) 890-5500. On social media, the community has shown an outpouring of support and concern. Natalie Ejua posted, "Prayers for the family!!" while Kovac Ji shared, "Heartbreaking praying for family." These sentiments reflect the growing worry within the community as the search for Francisco Davila continues.

Authorities are asking anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts to come forward immediately, as time is of the essence in locating this at-risk individual.
