Los Angeles, California – Misur Obando, a beloved member of the Los Angeles community, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at the age of 44. His passing has left his family and friends in deep sorrow as they cope with the loss of a devoted father, son, and brother.

Misur is survived by his mother, Sandra, and his two children, Xiomara and Jesse, along with his siblings and extended family. The sudden nature of his death has left the family unprepared for the associated expenses, leading them to seek support from the community.

In response, a GoFundMe fundraiser, "Support for Misur Obando’s Memorial," has been organized by Yanira Obando to help cover the costs of the memorial services. As of today, $2,360 has been raised out of a $6,500 goal, with contributions from 10 donors. The family deeply appreciates any assistance, whether through donations or by sharing the fundraiser to reach a wider audience.

Yanira Obando shared on Facebook, “It is with a heavy heart that I share the unfortunate news of Misur Obando’s sudden passing. Any donations and/or sharing of this fundraiser would be greatly appreciated. We will keep everyone updated regarding Misur’s memorial services. Thank you!”

Among the donations, Susy Garcia made the top contribution of $500, while Junior Jimenez offered the first donation of $300. The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has contributed so far, helping to ease the financial burden during this difficult time.

Misur Obando’s family remembers him fondly and cherishes the memories they shared. As Yanira poignantly expressed, “RiP Misur, you are gone from this physical earth, but you will never leave our hearts. We will love you and miss you always.”

For those who wish to support the family, donations can be made through the GoFundMe page, and updates regarding the memorial services will be provided as they become available.
