Lynchburg Resident Andy Little Sr. Passes Away at 47, Leaving Family in Need of Support

Lynchburg, Virginia – The community of Lynchburg is mourning the unexpected loss of Andy Little Sr., who passed away on August 27, 2024, at the age of 47. Andy was found unresponsive by his son, Andrew, and despite efforts, he could not be revived. His sudden passing has left his family, including his disabled wife and 18-year-old son, in a challenging position as they navigate this difficult time.

A devoted father and grandfather, Andy Little Sr. was deeply cherished by his family, who are now seeking support from the community to help cover funeral expenses and other urgent needs. A fundraiser organized by Sherri Hamlin is currently underway to assist with these costs, with a goal of raising $10,000. As of today, $490 has been raised from nine donations.

Family members and friends have taken to Facebook to express their condolences and offer prayers. Stacey Adkins shared, "Last night our stepdad, Andy, was found unresponsive by our little brother, Andrew, and has sadly passed away. My sister and I are trying to help ease the burden of this process on our brother and disabled mother. Andy was a great dad and grandfather, and we will miss him very much."

Others also shared their sorrow. Edwina D. Adkins commented, "Oh no, I’m so sorry. You are all in our prayers," while Elizabeth Flores added, "So sorry for your loss, sending prayers for you and your family."
