Madison, Ohio – Kelly Solarek, a beloved resident of Madison, Ohio, passed away suddenly at her home on Saturday, August 24, 2024. She was 59 years old.
Kelly Solarek, born Kelly Hawes on July 17, 1965, was known for her warm spirit and love of life. A graduate of Geneva High School and Geneva Vocational School, Kelly enjoyed various activities, including viewing sunsets, bowling, camping, and spending cherished moments with her friends and family. She was employed by the Perry Local Schools, where her enthusiasm and positive energy were well-regarded.
Kelly is survived by her husband, Mark Solarek, and her children, Angelica, Kristi, Anthony, Jared, and Sarah, as well as her grandchildren, Nora Rose and Clara Ann. Her parents, Mary J. Hawes and Tom Simonds, and her siblings, Kimmy Wortman, Scott Hawes, Carl Hawes, Stacey Love, and Brian Simonds, also survive her. Kelly was predeceased by her father, Carl A. Hawes.
A Celebration of Life to honor Kelly will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, located at 1500 Harpersfield Road in Geneva, Ohio.
