Malakih Mann-Harris of Ronceverte, WV, Remembered for His Deep Faith and Love After His Passing at 20

White Sulphur Springs, WV – The community of Ronceverte, West Virginia, mourns the loss of Malakih Lee Mann-Harris, who was called to his Heavenly Home on August 11, 2024, at the age of 20. His passing in Fairmont, WV, has left a deep void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Malakih was born on February 9, 2004, in Ronceverte, WV, to parents Michael L. Harris and Jacquelyn D. Mann. He was a young man of deep faith, having been baptized in 2012 at the River of Life Church in Alderson, WV. A graduate of Greenbrier East High School, Class of 2022, Malakih was known for his unwavering devotion to his family and his community.

His passing has brought an outpouring of grief and tributes from friends and loved ones on social media. Jada Standard posted on Facebook, "missin you bby," while Terri Bradshaw simply wrote, "So young," expressing the shock and sadness felt by many.

Malakih leaves behind his parents, his sisters Moneeka Harris and Makilah Mann, as well as a large extended family including his grandmothers Nanette Mann and Anita Harris, and his grandfather John A. Marshall, Sr. His memory will also be cherished by numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.

Funeral services for Malakih will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 12 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of White Sulphur Springs. Pastor Greg Scott and Minister Chris Winston will officiate the service, with interment to follow at the Greenhill Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 11 a.m. until the service begins.

As the community comes together to honor Malakih’s life, his legacy of love and faith continues to inspire those he left behind. Rest in peace, dear Malakih. You will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
