Brighton, Alabama – A tragic shooting over the weekend has claimed the life of 19-year-old Martez Reshard Paige Jr., a resident of Bessemer. The incident, which occurred on Saturday morning, has left the community in shock as they grapple with the loss of another young life.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office confirmed Martez Reshard Paige Jr. as the victim after the shooting at the intersection of Jaybird Road and Edward Street.
