Cuyahoga Falls, OH – Tragedy struck Wednesday night at a Taco Bell drive-thru on Graham Road, where a routine visit turned fatal. Megan Elizabeth Keleman, 25, of Stow, was fatally shot by Jason Williams, 53, of Cuyahoga Falls, in a shocking act of violence that ended with Williams taking his own life.
The incident began when Keleman pulled ahead of Williams in the drive-thru line, causing him to become visibly agitated. Witnesses reported that Williams repeatedly honked his horn before ramming his vehicle into Keleman’s car. As tensions escalated, Keleman asked Taco Bell employees to call the police. Moments later, Williams exited his vehicle, shot Keleman in the neck, and then turned the gun on himself.
Authorities responded to the scene shortly before 7:30 p.m., discovering both individuals deceased in their vehicles. The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Williams died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Police have stated that there is no evidence linking the two individuals, suggesting they were likely strangers.
Megan Keleman’s family released a statement expressing their profound grief, asking for privacy during this difficult time. “Our family is grieving the loss of Megan, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend. We ask for privacy during this incredibly difficult time as we focus on supporting each other.” Keleman’s dog, who was in her car at the time of the incident, was found unharmed and has been safely returned to her family.
The community has been left in shock by the incident, with many questioning what could have driven such a tragic outcome. Nelson Robert Stack commented on Facebook, “Breakcheck of the week,” to which Tristan Lillquist responded, “Nelson Robert Stack, a family lost a daughter, a sister, and this is what you felt the need to comment?”
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is assisting local authorities with processing the crime scene as the investigation continues.
