Methuen Community Rallies to Support Funeral Expenses for Berenice Baez, a Mother of Two, After Her Passing

Methuen, Massachusetts – The community is coming together to support the family of Berenice Baez, who tragically passed away on August 20, 2024, after a courageous five-year battle with liver cancer. Berenice leaves behind two children and a grieving family that is now seeking assistance to cover her funeral expenses.

Pamela Rodriguez, Berenice’s sister, has organized a GoFundMe campaign on behalf of Anilda Baez to raise $15,000. As of today, the fundraiser has collected $550 from seven donations. Pamela describes Berenice as a God-fearing woman who was always helpful and brought joy to everyone who knew her. The loss has devastated her family and friends, who are now reaching out to the community for support.

On Facebook, Zoila Marisol Gomez urged the community to "make a donation please," emphasizing the need to support this young mother of two. The fundraiser is a heartfelt plea for help during this difficult time, with donations continuing to come in from friends and community members.

The community’s response reflects the impact Berenice had on those around her and the collective desire to honor her memory by ensuring she receives a proper farewell.
