Pahrump, Nevada – Michael Kilgore, aged 53, tragically lost his life in a deadly DUI crash that occurred on September 11, 2022, at the intersection of Bourbon Street and Hall Avenue in Pahrump, Nevada. The fatal incident involved a Chevrolet Classic, which rolled over during the crash, ejecting both of its unrestrained occupants. Kilgore was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver, identified as Damian Berry, was taken to University Medical Center for treatment.
Berry, who had a blood alcohol content of .14 and marijuana in his system at the time of the crash, was confirmed as the driver through DNA analysis conducted by the Nevada State Police’s homicide unit. Nearly two years after the incident, on July 20, 2024, an arrest warrant was issued for Berry. He was subsequently arrested in Las Vegas on August 8 and is currently being held at the Nye County Detention Center on a $500,000 bail.
The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol released a statement following Berry’s arrest, underscoring the importance of road safety and urging the public to avoid driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
