Missing Person Alert in Dickenson County – Carenda Ramsey Located Safely

Dickenson County, Virginia – Carenda Ramsey, also known as Carenda Gail Weddle, who had been reported missing, was found safe as of Thursday, August 8, 2024. The Dickenson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed her safe return at 10:36 AM today.

Carenda Ramsey, a white female with a light complexion, was last seen in the DC Caney Ridge section of Dickenson County on the morning of August 7, 2024. She is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

The news of her disappearance had caused concern among her family, friends, and the local community. Numerous people shared their thoughts and prayers on social media.

Cassie Mullins-Enoch noted, "She has a Facebook page under Carenda Gail Ramsey. She posted 7 hours ago. She also put a picture of her with a man on it 4 days ago. She has mentioned she is living in Atlanta, Georgia."

Kayla B. Mullins added, "According to her Facebook, she commented on her most recent profile picture 5 hours ago."

Mary Moore questioned, "Why is the sheriff’s office looking for her?" To which Madison Davis responded, "Mary Moore, it says it in the title. She’s MISSING."

The Dickenson County Sheriff’s Office had urged anyone with information on Carenda Ramsey’s whereabouts to contact them at 276-926-1650. Fortunately, the community’s efforts and the Sheriff’s Office’s prompt action led to her being found safely.
