The accident occurred on Thursday night, leaving Mitch with critical injuries, including significant brain trauma. Despite the tireless efforts of his medical team, Mitch was pronounced deceased on Saturday night after tests confirmed the absence of brain function.

Mitch Potter was more than just an employee; he was a remarkable individual whose positivity and unwavering smile left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered at Sandy Pines. Always willing to lend a hand, Mitch’s generosity and kindness were well-known among his colleagues and the broader community.

In a final act of compassion, Mitch’s family is working with the Gift of Life organization to donate his organs, ensuring that his legacy of kindness continues by saving lives. This week, Mitch will take his Honor Walk from Bronson to Ann Arbor, symbolizing his lasting impact on those in need.
