Montgomery County Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Missing Germantown Resident, Douglas Antonio Grande Torres

Germantown, Maryland – The Montgomery County Police Department is urgently seeking the public’s assistance in locating 34-year-old Douglas Antonio Grande Torres, who has been reported missing from Germantown. Torres was last seen on Sunday, August 11, 2024, around 11 p.m., in the 19600 block of Crystal Rock Drive.

Douglas Antonio Grande Torres is described as being 5-feet, 9-inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a red t-shirt and blue jeans. Torres is believed to be driving a white 2003 Toyota Sedan, bearing Maryland license plate 3EW3707.

The Montgomery County Police Department’s 5th District Investigative Section is leading the search and has asked anyone with information about Torres’ whereabouts to contact their non-emergency line at (301) 279-8000, which operates 24 hours a day.

The news of his disappearance has deeply affected the local community, with many people sharing their thoughts and prayers on social media. Rati Surati expressed her sadness, posting, "So very sad," in response to the police department’s appeal.
