Mount Union Police Department Investigates the Disappearance of Jeffrey Ryan Kauffman in McVeytown, Pennsylvania

Jeffrey Ryan Kauffman, a resident of McVeytown, Pennsylvania, has been reported missing, prompting an investigation by the Mount Union Police Department. Kauffman was last seen on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at approximately 6:00 PM at his place of employment, Worthy’s Refuse, located at 2775 US Highway 522 in McVeytown.

Kauffman was driving a black 2013 Ram 1500 Crew Cab with Pennsylvania registration ZLF-3719. Unfortunately, no information has been provided about his direction of travel or intended destination, leaving his whereabouts unknown.

The Mount Union Police Department has released a statement urging anyone with information or sightings of Kauffman or his vehicle to contact the Huntingdon County Dispatch at (814)-643-3960 or to reach out via their Facebook page.

The disappearance of Kauffman has sparked concern within the community, with many taking to social media to express their hopes for his safe return. Marshaine Adams reposted on a missing person page, offering prayers for his safe recovery. Chris McPherson commented, "Hoping for the best outcome," while Stacey Lynn added, "I hope he is found safe."

An individual, Eric Kim Perkins, mentioned that Kauffman had stopped by his place of employment to get gas for his truck earlier in the week, though he was unsure of the exact day. Laura Baker expressed her sadness, stating, "This makes me really sad. Please find him!" Similarly, Jenny Strahan shared, "Praying he is found safe! Praying for his loved ones too!"

As the search continues, the community remains on high alert, united in their concern for Kauffman’s safety. The Mount Union Police Department continues to investigate the case, hoping to uncover any leads that could help locate Jeffrey Ryan Kauffman.
