Navy Veteran Robert Hooten Missing in Tulsa, Oklahoma, After Leaving VFW Post 577 on Friday Afternoon

Tulsa, Oklahoma – The search is intensifying for Robert Hooten, a 40-year-old Navy veteran who has been missing since Friday, August 9, 2024. Hooten was last seen leaving VFW Post #577 at 1109 East 6th Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at approximately 3:30 p.m. He was reportedly wearing a dark t-shirt, jeans, black boots, and a striped gray and green motorcycle jacket.

Hooten, who has PTSD, was riding his lime green and black Harley Davidson motorcycle, which is distinct with white tires, three headlights, saddle bags, a sissy bar, and a second seat. The motorcycle bears a Texas license plate with the tag number 375V4Y.

The Tulsa Police Department has issued a missing person report and is urging the public to come forward with any information regarding Hooten’s whereabouts. Those with information are encouraged to contact the Tulsa Police Department at (918) 596-9222.

Raymond Xochitlpilli Falcon, a friend of Hooten’s, took to Facebook to share his concern, noting that Hooten was last seen at the VFW Post before leaving to retrieve an item in Owasso. "Missing Person Robert Hooten Navy veteran nephew in Tulsa, OK. Last seen VFW Post #577 Aug 9. Never seen or heard again. Please call them (918) 596-9222 if you have any information. We deeply thank you," he posted.
