Newark, Ohio – Shane Vaughn, a 30-year-old resident of Newark, tragically lost his life in a fatal motorcycle accident on Thursday morning, August 22, 2024. The incident occurred on Ohio 16 near mile post 21 around 9:40 a.m. Vaughn was traveling eastbound in the left lane when he lost control of his motorcycle while attempting to navigate a turn. His motorcycle slid into the right lane and collided with a trailer, leading to his untimely death.
