Newton, NJ – The Newton Police Department is urgently seeking the public’s assistance in locating Shaquiel Hill, a 30-year-old autistic man who went missing from a group home in Newton early this morning. Hill, described as a Black male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, and weighing approximately 200 pounds, was last seen on Linmor Avenue around 1:30 AM on August 15, 2024.
Hill reportedly left the group home either on foot or possibly on a bicycle, wearing a white tank top, blue sweatpants, and possibly boots. Authorities advise the public not to approach him if sighted, but to immediately call 9-1-1.
The community has expressed deep concern for Hill’s safety, with many taking to social media to share their thoughts and prayers. Victor Santana commented, "Praying he gets home safe," while Laraine Kappes echoed the sentiment, stating, "Hope he is found safe."
