Odessa, Texas – The Odessa community is mourning the loss of 59-year-old Ninfa Webb, who was tragically killed in a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday night, August 21, 2024. The accident occurred at approximately 9:41 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 80 and Faudree Road.
According to the Odessa Police Department, the collision involved a black Kia Sportage, driven by Webb, a silver Dodge Ram, and a gray GMC Canyon pickup. The investigation revealed that the driver of the Dodge Ram, who was traveling eastbound on Highway 80, attempted to turn northbound onto Faudree but failed to yield the right of way, resulting in a collision with Webb’s westbound Kia Sportage. The impact caused the Kia to flip upside down and strike the stationary GMC Canyon.
Tragically, Ninfa Webb was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Dodge Ram was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver of the GMC Canyon was uninjured. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
