McDuffie County, Georgia – Tragedy struck on Sunday evening, August 25, 2024, when 27-year-old Branson Inscore of Statesville, North Carolina, was killed in a fatal accident on Interstate 20 in McDuffie County. According to McDuffie County Coroner Paul Johnson, the accident occurred near mile marker 175 on the eastbound side of I-20.
Inscore was driving a Toyota RAV 4 when he collided with the back of an 18-wheeler that had stopped due to traffic congestion caused by an earlier accident further up the interstate. The collision proved fatal, and Inscore was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:32 p.m. by Coroner Johnson.
