Okanogan County Authorities Intensify Search for Missing 77-Year-Old Lucy Burns in Wauconda

Okanogan County, Washington – The Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an extensive search for Lucy Burns, a 77-year-old woman who went missing in Wauconda on Saturday. According to reports from the Washington State Patrol, Burns was last seen around 1:30 p.m. when she left her home to take a walk with her two dogs, a white lab and a black pitbull. She has not been seen since.

Lucy Burns is described as being approximately 140 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. The local authorities have urged anyone who may have seen her or has information regarding her whereabouts to immediately contact 911.

The disappearance has sparked concern and support from the community. Social media platforms, particularly Facebook, have seen an outpouring of thoughts and prayers from concerned individuals. One of the notable posts came from the "True Crime with Megan" page, which highlighted the urgency of the situation, sharing detailed information about Burns and urging the community to help in the search efforts.

As the search continues, the community in Okanogan County remains hopeful for Lucy Burns’ safe return. The Sheriff’s Office, alongside volunteers, is leaving no stone unturned in the effort to locate her.
