The search for Dane Elkins, a 25-year-old man missing since December 21, 2020, continues as his family and community tirelessly seek any information regarding his whereabouts. Despite being missing for over three years, there have been potential sightings, including one in 2023 at a 7-Eleven in Winston, Oregon. His family, led by his mother, Deborah Kassin Elkins, remains hopeful and is actively engaging the public in the search.

Deborah Kassin Elkins shared on Facebook about the possible sighting, urging people to spread the word in hopes of confirming if it was indeed her son. Dane was reportedly seen approaching "kind moms" for money for food, accompanied by a friend carrying a purple duffle bag. Meanwhile, Tammy Cantrell suggested checking local homeless shelters and camps, noting, "Please check with their LOCAL homeless shelters and camps!! I know homelessness.. this seems to be something like this situation.. maybe he lost his memory.. sending prayers."

Dane Elkins is described as having green eyes, brown hair, standing 5’11" tall, and weighing 170 pounds. His last confirmed sighting was on April 16, 2022, in Santa Cruz, California. The family urges anyone with information to contact them and to continue spreading awareness. They remain focused on finding Dane safe and offering him help in the kindest way possible.

The Elkins family has also highlighted the search on social media and other platforms, including the show "Never Seen Again," where Dane’s case is featured in Season 4, Episode 3 on Paramount+.
