Oologah Community Mourns the Loss of Chloe Elizabeth Aycock, a Beloved Rodeo Queen and Barrel Racer

Oologah, Oklahoma – The Oologah community is grieving the unexpected loss of Chloe Elizabeth Aycock, a vibrant young woman who was deeply involved in the local rodeo scene. Chloe was a 2024-25 Queen contestant and an active member of the Oologah Round Up Club, where she was known for her enthusiasm and dedication to barrel racing and pole bending. Her infectious smile and kind spirit touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Chloe’s passing has left a significant void in the community. Oologah RUC Royalty shared their sorrow on social media, stating, "It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to one of our 2024-25 Queen contestants, Chloe Aycock. She wasn’t only that, she was a member of our round-up club, a barrel racer/pole bender who came and supported events all the time. She was a bright and sweet young lady who had a smile that would light up the room. Chloe will definitely be missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting her."

The community is rallying to support Chloe’s family during this difficult time. A fundraiser organized by Olivia Bocanegra, a relative of Chloe, is currently seeking to raise $15,000 to help cover funeral expenses and provide financial assistance to the family. As of today, $375 has been raised from four donations. Olivia describes Chloe as "a beautiful soul inside and out" who was "full of life, passionate about so many things including horses, jewelry, beauty, family, and friends."

On Facebook, community members have expressed their condolences and offered prayers for Chloe’s family. Tawnya Colclasure wrote, "Praying for her family," while others have echoed the sentiment, showing the widespread impact Chloe had on those around her.

Chloe Elizabeth Aycock will be remembered for her bright spirit, her love for the rodeo, and the many lives she touched. The Oologah community continues to mourn her loss while coming together to support her family in their time of need.
