Amanda’s journey with the fire department began after she worked as a 911 dispatcher and later trained as an EMT and firefighter. Her passion for helping others led her to join the Orlando Fire Department, where she had family ties, including her stepfather, brother-in-law, and later her husband. Despite being diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer, Amanda continued to radiate love and light, showing her strong faith and resilience through numerous treatments.

The fundraiser aims to assist with funeral costs and other expenses, especially to help her husband and their 6-year-old daughter.
