Prince George’s County, Maryland – Maryland State Police have identified 37-year-old Oscar Ramos Jr., from Mountain Rainier, Maryland, as the driver who tragically died in a dump truck crash on I-95 earlier this week. The fatal accident occurred on Tuesday, August 20, at around 9:15 a.m.
According to reports, troopers responded to a single-vehicle accident involving a dump truck on Sandy Springs Road near I-95. The truck veered off the road and ended up in the woods. Oscar Ramos Jr., the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
Nadifa Fifah, commenting on social media, expressed her shock and grief, saying, "Breaking news …!! Can’t bear to watch this video." The video she refers to reportedly shows graphic body camera footage of the incident.
