Ouachita Parish Community Concerned as 17-Year-Old Akoya Wiley Reported Missing Again

Monroe, Louisiana – The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office has issued a call for help in locating 17-year-old Akoya Wiley, who has gone missing once again. Akoya, a Black female standing 5’4" tall and weighing 160 pounds, was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, shorts, and flip-flops. She has distinctive dark brown braided hair with red coloring and a nose piercing.

The news of her disappearance has sparked concern and confusion within the community, as this is not the first time she has been reported missing. The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office shared the details on Facebook, confirming her status as missing and urging anyone with information to come forward.

Social media users have expressed their worries and frustrations regarding Akoya’s repeated disappearances. Bee Bee commented, "Again? Dang I pray they find her?" while Tracy Clark questioned, "Someone needs to find out why she keeps running away before it’s too late!" These sentiments reflect the growing concern among locals for Akoya’s safety and well-being.

Norma Lemoine added, "There has to be something going on for her to be missing again," echoing the thoughts of many who fear there might be underlying issues leading to her repeated disappearances.
