Passaic Community Unites to Support Granting Jasiel Salas’ Final Wish of Burial in Mexico Amid Fundraising Effort

Passaic, New Jersey – The family of Jasiel Salas, who passed away on August 16, 2024, is seeking support from the community to fulfill his final wish of being buried next to his father in Mexico. A GoFundMe campaign, organized by his daughter Gladis Salas, has been launched to cover funeral expenses and related costs. The fundraiser has so far raised $200 of its $3,000 goal.

In a heartfelt plea, Gladis shared, "Dear friends and family, with a heavy heart I am deeply saddened to announce the loss of my dear father, Jasiel Salas. We want to grant his wish to bury him next to his father in Mexico. Any contribution is greatly appreciated and will help me and my family honor his wish and provide some financial relief during this tough period."

The community is encouraged to contribute and help ease the burden on the Salas family during this difficult time. The campaign, which was just launched today, has already received its first donation from Graciela Martinez.

On Facebook, Allison Sophia expressed her support, writing, "Bananas!! My bestie lost her daddy! Which foot is worth, thanks!" along with a link to the GoFundMe page. The family appreciates all the kindness and support they have received so far and hopes to reach their goal to ensure Jasiel Salas can rest in peace alongside his father in Mexico.
