Pawtucket Police Issue Silver Alert for Missing 78-Year-Old Dennis Coursen, Last Seen Driving to RI Veterans Affairs Hospital

Pawtucket, Rhode Island – The Pawtucket Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for 78-year-old Dennis Coursen, who has been missing since Tuesday morning. Coursen, who suffers from dementia, was last seen at approximately 11 a.m. driving a red Hyundai Elantra with Rhode Island registration 788-781. He was reportedly en route to the RI Veterans Affairs Hospital but has not been seen or heard from since.

Dennis Coursen was wearing a flannel shirt, a US Navy Veterans ball cap, and black gloves at the time of his disappearance. The police have requested that anyone with information about his whereabouts contact their headquarters at 401-726-3911.

The Pawtucket Police Department’s Silver Alert has prompted concern across the community, with many residents sharing posts on Facebook in hopes of locating him. Linda Nilan, Mary Bessette Ruszala, Donna Arnold Weber, Michelle Dumas Kingsbury, Brenda Martins, Colette O’Brien, and Cecile Cardente are among those who have shared the alert and expressed their concerns online.

As the search continues, the community is urged to stay vigilant and report any sightings or information that could help bring Dennis Coursen home safely.
