Pennington Community Mourns the Loss of Beloved Family Medicine Physician Dr. Donald Brescia, Who Served for Over 55 Years

Pennington, NJ – The community of Hopewell Township and the surrounding areas is mourning the loss of Dr. Donald Brescia, a revered family medicine physician with over 55 years of service. Dr. Brescia passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy of dedication to his patients and the medical community. As of now, the cause of his death remains unknown.

Dr. Brescia’s medical journey began in 1969 when he graduated from the University of Bologna, known for its rigorous medical program. Over the years, he became a pillar in the Hopewell Township community, providing compassionate and expert care to multiple generations of families. His affiliations with prestigious hospitals such as Saint Peter’s University Hospital and Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center further highlighted his commitment to excellence in healthcare.

On social media, former patients and community members have expressed their sorrow and shared memories of Dr. Brescia. John Rodney Newman shared on Facebook, “He took the best of care of my mom for decades. He was more than just a doctor; he was a trusted family advisor.”

Donald R. Twomey also posted, saying, “I am totally heartbroken over the passing of Dr. Brescia. He has been my physician for over 50 years, since he first had his practice on Main St. in Pennington. He will be sorely missed.”
