Peoria, Arizona – The Peoria Police Department is actively seeking the public’s assistance in locating Isabella Figueroa Chavarria, a 12-year-old girl who was reported missing on Tuesday, August 13th. Isabella, a Hispanic female standing 5’3” tall and weighing 120 pounds, was last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts, and carrying a black backpack. She has black hair and brown eyes.
Isabella was last seen around 5:00 p.m. on the day of her disappearance when she left her residence near the 29000 block of N 69th Ln. It is believed that she left on foot, and due to her young age, she is considered endangered and at-risk.
The Peoria Police have been conducting an extensive search for Isabella but have been unable to locate her thus far. It is noted that she does not have a cell phone with her, which heightens concerns for her safety.
The police are urging anyone who may have seen Isabella or has any information about her whereabouts to contact the Peoria Police Department immediately at 623-773-8311.
Many members of the community have taken to Facebook to express their concern and hope for Isabella’s safe return. One post reads, “Praying for Isabella’s safe return. Please share this and keep an eye out for her.” Another user commented, “Let’s come together as a community to find her. Every second counts.”
The Peoria Police Department has also shared Isabella’s photo on social media in hopes of increasing the chances of locating her. The urgency and concern surrounding Isabella’s disappearance have led to a growing community effort to assist in the search.
