Pinole, California – The Pinole Police Department is actively investigating the disappearance of Ronald Linstad, an 84-year-old resident who was last seen on his way to a glass shop in Richmond. Ronald, who was reported missing on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, suffers from short-term memory loss and mobility issues due to a previous back injury.
Ronald was last seen wearing a green short-sleeve shirt and blue jeans. He left home in his blue 1990 Dodge van, license plate #2RSE115, to visit a glass shop on 23rd Street in Richmond to replace his rearview mirror. It remains unclear whether he ever made it to his intended destination. Ronald is known to frequent areas such as the Berkley Marina, Richmond Marina, and Pt Isabel Dog Park.
The Pinole Police are urging anyone with information regarding Ronald’s whereabouts to contact them at 510-724-1111. The community has been asked to remain vigilant and report any sightings of Ronald or his vehicle.

Debbie Cyr shared on Facebook, "He was a teacher at PV, sending prayers," reflecting the worry and hope shared by those who know him.
