Pontiac, Missouri – The Pontiac community is coming together to remember and honor Jeannie Looper, a beloved resident who passed away last fall after a short illness. Jeannie was well-known for her dedication to the community and her boundless kindness, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

In memory of Jeannie, her family chose the Pontiac Firework Fund as a recipient of contributions, ensuring that this year’s fireworks display will be extra special. The Pontiac Cove Marina recently posted a heartfelt tribute to Jeannie on Facebook, acknowledging her contributions and the profound loss felt by the community. "We are so excited for the show Foggy Bottom Fireworks has planned for this Saturday. We know it will be spectacular, as always, but it will be extra special this year as we remember and honor Jeannie," the post stated.
